59 Takachiyo “Ipponjime” Chapter One

This unpasteurized "namazake" has a vibrant and dynamic flavor that is perfect for a sake newcomer. Fruity fresh apple and pineapple aromas are highlighted by a hint of rice. Rice is called "Ipponjime," a crossbreed of "Toyo" and "Gohyakumangoku" varieties. This sake pairs well with fresh to semi-hard cheeses and matches Spanish, Italian, and French dishes. It is a refreshing aperitif on a sunny day and it has a velvety quality that is smooth as silk down your throat. Must be stored in refrigerator and always drink chilled.
