Collection: Takahashi Sake Brewery in Akita

Takahashi Sake Brewery is a sake brewery located at 72-13 Homonshimizu, Rokugo, Misato Town, Semboku District, Akita Prefecture. Founded in 1885 in the former Senboku Village, the brewery temporarily ceased production during wartime and later relocated to its current location in Rokugo, Misato Town, in 1949.

The brewery's flagship brand is Oku-Shimizu, and it produces a variety of sake, including the Junmai Daiginjo Misato Sekka and the Junmai sake Misato Nishiki × Akita Snow Country Yeast. The brewing water used is Homon Shimizu, part of the Rokugo Spring Water Group, which has been selected as one of Japan’s top 100 famous waters. The brewery also utilizes locally grown sake rice to craft its high-quality sake.
