Collection: Honjozo

Honjozo - 本醸造

Sake with a small amount of distilled alcohol added towards the end of fermentation. As opposed to the 'pure rice' junmai sake.


Honjozo Ginjo - 吟醸

Rice polished to at least 60% and added distilled alcohol.

Honjozo Daiginjo - 大吟醸

A minimum 50% polishing level and added distilled alcohol.

Tokubetsu Honjozo - 特別本醸造

Similar to tokubetsu junmai, special features are used such as a high polishing ratio or unique brewing techniques.
