Mitobe Shuzo Co., Ltd. – Craft Sake from Tendo, Yamagata

Founded in 1898, Mitobe Shuzo is a long-established sake brewery located in Tendo City, Yamagata Prefecture. With deep roots in the region, the brewery specializes in the production and sale of premium sake and umeshu (plum wine), and also imports high-quality prosciutto.

Led by President Asanobu Mitobe, the dedicated team of around 14 members (including seasonal staff) carefully brews sake with a balance of tradition and innovation. Their goal is to create sake that is refined, expressive, and enjoyable to drink every day.
