Collection: Kanzawagawa Sake Brewery

It's Located in Yui Town, Shizuoka Prefecture

In 1912 (Taisho 1), Kinzo Mochizuki and his son Yoshimatsu, who were engaged in forestry and sericulture in the mountains north of the current brewery location, turned their passion for sake into a brewing venture. Driven to find the ideal water source for brewing, they established their brewery along the banks of the Kanzawa River.

The sake born from their tireless dedication was named "Shousetsu," after Yui Shousetsu—a locally born strategist known for living with unyielding integrity. Over a century later, the brewery remains committed to crafting a sake that perfectly balances sweetness, dryness, bitterness, astringency, and acidity with an elegant, refreshing aroma—a brew so drinkable you will enjoy every sip without tire.
