This is the flagship sake for Sasaki Shuzo. Named in honor of their town, Yuriage. Made from 100% Kura no Hana rice grown in Miyagi, milled to 60%. A refreshing, crisp sake with savory notes that pairs well with food or good for gentle warming.  

The flagship sake for Sasaki Shuzo brings a light, refreshing feel on the palate that quickly finishes with a clean and crisp savory touch. This is an excellent sake to pair with various cuisines. Yuri is named after the town of Yuriage where the brewery is located. This sake is a symbol of recovery for Yuriage and Sasaki Shuzo.

Sasaki Sake Brewery is located in Miyagi Prefecture, Northeastern Japan. 

Chikae Sasaki embodies the power of women in leadership. 

After her husband became mayor of Natori City, she took the helm as president of the brewery in 2004, stepping into a role traditionally held by men. Her leadership has proven essential in continuing the brewery's success, blending tradition with innovation. 

Chikae’s story is a testament to how women can excel in industries where they are often underrepresented. Her strength and vision have not only upheld the brewery’s legacy but have also paved the way for future generations of women in sake production.
