Nakamoto Shuzo started brewing in 1727.
The recipe for Prince Nagaya was created around 700 A.D., long before modern brewing methods and the ability to finely polish rice was developed.
Prince Nagaya ruled in Nara more than 1,300 years ago. In 1980s, a wooden tablet with six recipes for sake-making were excavated from the site of Price Nagaya's palace. This sake is one of the ancient receipts.
This sake is meant to consumed with Ice, sweeter and rich sake.
Intense, aromatic aroma evoke papaya, mango, apricot, note of honey and sesame, fermented aroma of miso.
Pairs well with Chocolate, ice cream, cake, fried, Steak, lobster, and cream pasta.
Must be stored in a dark, refrigerated place.
