We are thrilled to announce that Sake Trend will be participating in the Bay Area's original sake tasting event—SAKE DAY 2026!

Hosted by True Sake and the JCCCNC, this 21st annual celebration is the longest-running and largest Nihonshu no Hi event outside of Japan. Stop by our booth to chat, learn, and taste a pour of something exceptional!

We’ve got an incredible lineup of events coming up, and we can’t wait to celebrate, sip, and share great sake with you! Here’s where you can find us in the coming months:

👘 August 28 (Friday)— Exclusive Sake Tasting & Pairing at Sakae Sushi

An intimate, 20-spot-only evening featuring gourmet appetizer pairings and Karaoke night in Burlingame! Yukata (casual summer kimono) is highly encouraged—Sake Trend will be wearing too! We'll announce the official date on Instagram as soon as it's set, so keep an eye out.

🍶 September 26 (Sunday) — Sake Day San FranciscoStop by and say hi at the Sake Happy Tokyo booth for a pour of something fantastic!

🌸 October 4 (Sunday) — 21st Annual Millbrae Japanese Culture Festival

Civic Center Plaza (Millbrae, CA) | 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Join us for a wonderful day of authentic Japanese culture, delicious food, live performances, tea ceremonies, and of course—great sake and beer! A fantastic, fun-filled autumn event for the whole community!

🎡 October 16–18 (Friday–Sunday) — OC Japan Fair (Costa Mesa, CA) We’re heading down to Southern California for one of the largest Japanese cultural festivals of the year. Come celebrate with us!

🔒 October 22 — Private Sake Tasting & Benefit Event (San Jose, CA)

An exclusive private gathering dedicated to supporting a wonderful local non-profit. We are honored to bring the art, culture, and community of sake together for such a meaningful cause!

🍁 November 12th (Thursday)— Sake Tasting in Plug & Play Sunnyvale

More details to come soon—stay tuned! The Sake Lectures will be conducted both English and Japanese

Japanese American Museum

Last year’s tasting and lecture was an unforgettable highlight for us! Thanks to your incredible warmth and enthusiasm, the response was so overwhelming that the Japanese American Museum personally invited us back for a 2nd annual event.

There is nothing quite like gathering to discover the rich history, craftsmanship, and pure beauty of sake together. We are so grateful to everyone who joined us last time and made it such a joyful celebration—and we can't wait to raise another glass with you to cap off the year! Stay tuned for official dates!
